Access Control Systems allow both tracking and restricting access to your business. 24 hour access can be given to any or all employees and a report can be generated to show exactly who came in and when. Each person or group of people can be restricted by date and time and allowed restricted access. For example, you and other "Management" personnel can be given access 24/7 while other employees can only enter Monday thru Friday from 7am until 6pm and your "Cleaning Service" will only be allowed access Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6pm until 11:30pm. Personnel can also be excluded from entering on Holidays or during plant shut down.
Access can be done with a 3-6 digit code or by access cards, FOBs or special discs. As each is unique to a specific person, you can deny access at any time such as at termination. Keys can be duplicated so locks must be rekeyed if an employee is terminated. Not so with an access system. No additional expense is incured by the need to rekey locks as the terminated employee can be removed and if access has been denied and an attempt to enter is made, access will be denied but it will be displayed in the activity report that an attempt to enter was made.
The Access Control Systems offered by Northern can be a simple, single door point of entry or be multiple doors and/or multiple locations all controlled from your office via a WAN/LAN interface module at each remote location.
